Frequently asked questions
What’s the difference between centered and tiled watermarks?
Centered places one large watermark in the middle of every page — ideal for "DRAFT" or "CONFIDENTIAL". Tiled repeats the text across the whole page, which makes it much harder to crop or edit out.
Will the watermark hide my text?
Not if you keep the opacity low. Around 15–30% stays clearly visible while leaving the content underneath readable. Use the live preview to find the right balance.
Can the watermark be removed?
The watermark is added as real text on every page, so it prints and appears in every viewer. Someone with a PDF editor could still delete it — a tiled watermark is the hardest to remove.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The watermark is applied entirely in your browser and your file never leaves your device.
